I thought just to get everyones opinion on the shows we could have an "official" AWF Thread for the upcoming AWF Shows. I don't see much talk about the shows at all compared to the Corino shows so lets all use this thread to discuss the long weekend shows.
I'll start us off with a question. (Feel free to talk about anything regarding the AWF Shows)
Does anybody here think Demott will defeat TNT for the AWF Championship?
Me personally i think not since the TNT Vs Dynamite match would look better on paper if it was for the AWF Championship and not just a singles match.
And i really doubt Demott will win the Australia's Cup unless he wins it then cashes in his title shot on 15/4 which would arguably make sense but then Demott would have to lose as it's the last day of the tour.
It's all very exciting stuff for me as i'm actually excited for all three shows and i'm only going to 1 of them.
BTW i hope Demott doesent win at all i like TNT holding the AWF Championship i'm just curious as to how people think about this and the rest of the weekend shows.

I think you're right but remember what happened with CIMA?
He won the title in a triple threat and then lost it to TNT the next night.
If at all possible it could happen again.
the quick title changes I mean.

Yeah i remember with CIMA.
I originally thought CIMA would lose to TNT on the 6TH and face a lower guy on the 7TH and i was actually quite shocked that he won it.
It was good though CIMA's a top class talent and truly deserving of our belt.

Might do the same thing as what happened with CIMA, as if Demott comes to Wolongong with the strap, we know he will drop it.

TNT might well have a tour of japan not long after this show and since demott is apparantly doing a few shows in japan... who knows

also shane, i agree and have had the exact idea for some time about demott winning the Aust cup and cashing in the opportunity for the AWF title the very next night, in the gong.
but i think it might also go a different way, il cognito winning the aust cup and cashin in the opp at the king tom club show.

how? If cognito wins the aust cup he gets a shot whenever he wants. That doesn't mean the next night in Wollongong he is already wrestling The Captain in the local showdown.

The Wollongong Show is at the Fairy Meadow Fraternity Club.
I imagine the angle they'd do if Cognito were to win would be him losing on the 5TH cashing in on the next show (Can't remember the date) and then winning or losing.
I want JT or Ravenous to win anyway.

As it is, Cognito defeated Hilton at the last KT Show to earn a shot at the title at the next king tom show.
One of the first round matches in the Australia's Cup is JT vs Hugh Morris.

Okay lets say this.
Demott wins the belt on the 13th.
Cognito replaces him in the Australia's Cup Match.
Cognito wins Australia Cup faces Captain in Wollongong.
Demott drops Belt to TNT and Cognito attacks afterwards.
Loses to TNT at KT.
Cashes in shot at next show.

Ahh so it looks doubtful that Demott will be in Blacktown and Wollongong then?
This upsets me but we can't really blame anyone as i'm sure Demott tried to commit himself to the date... And it was a weather problem out of anyones hands.
Fingers crossed he turns up...
