I have a few I consider favorites. -The Wolfpac -DX -Dx (Run DMC version) -RVD's current. -Bret Hart's wwf -Edge's Rob Zombie music.
When I used to do backyard wrestling i used "Danger Zone" by kenny loggins. I have every intention of using the re-mix of "The Power" for any future wrestling I may do. (I assure you all that I have every intention of returning to training, its just that work has literally halved my hours,so its kinda hard to round up capitol)

Ok,24 hours later and I have given the topic some thought. I think the most effective entrance music is one which has a definitive intro.I will explain.Whether it be a catchphrase or musical stab,or even a sound effect. They are (in my humble opinion) more effective then the ones that just sort of happen. Here a few examples to explain what I mean.
Edge - "You think you know me..." New Age Outlaws - "OH,You Didn't Know?!?" Booker T - "can you Dig it..Sucka!!" & "Don't hate the player, hate the game" DX - "Are you Ready..." and obviously ..."If Ya Smell..."
And musical intros/sound effects are just as effective. HHH's opening few bars, folowed by the pause, everyone instantly knows who it is. RVD's opening. Kane's explosion. The Dudley's pyro.."yeah,we're coming down" and subsequent explosion" and obviously,Foley's brakes and impact.
obviously there are hundreds upon hundreds of examples I could have made, but I think you all see the point im trying to make. Hopefully this all made sense.

I like "King of My World" by Fozzy, Jericho's band. He was using it for a little while to promote the WWe Oigionals CD.
I also like Lita's and Triple H's.
I think that Song 2 by Blur would make good entrance music because of the way it leads up.

Um,Johno,a few correctiosn need to be made. 1:"King of my world" wasnt fozzy at all,im pretty sure it was saliva and wasn't on the originals CD it was on the Anthology. 2:The Jericho song that was on the originals CD is called "Dont you wish you were me" and is performed by Mongoose McQueen (which is Jericho's alter ego...which is weird, because Chris Jericho is the alter ego of Christopher Irvine....oh no,i've gone and given myself a heafache)

Entrance music is only good if it reflects the wrestler using it. For example, Eye of the Tiger is a great song, but could you see Mordecai coming out to it? Entrances like Kane's explosion + music, Undertaker's funeral dirge and Jericho's Millenium Man theme all mesh with their characters perfectly, while themes like Orlando Jordan's and Big Show's do nothing for their characters. If you're portraying a gay character, you should have sort of homo-erotic music, stuff like that. So it isn't really the music, it's the whole package.
That being said, my favourite entrance MUSIC is probably Chris Benoit's current theme, while my favourite entrance overall will always be Jericho's debut. Now that's an entrance.
