AWF Wrestling and Dragon Gate Japan have embarked upon a working agreement that will see future growth for wrestling in the Australasian market. The agreement will encapsulate training and talent swaps. AWF Champion TNT just returned to Australia after doing three successful shows 14-16 June for the Dragon Gate Japan promotion. TNT and other AWF performers will tour Japan in the future to wrestle cards when schedules allow. DragonGate Japan stars Masaaki Mochizuki & Ryo Saito will come to AWF for shows 6,7,8 July in NSW, Australia. AWF management says: "We are excited to be taking AWF back into the Australasian market, and we are looking forward to bringing more quality wrestling to Australia via the stars of Dragon Gate Japan. The Dragon Gate Japan promotion is the most progressive wrestling company in the world, and we are proud to be associated with the organisation, and feel the AWF fans will strongly benefit from the union." I think this is fantastic news i've always kinda liked Dragon Gate i havent seen much but i loved what i saw. Very excited for this Dragon Gate is pretty big in Japan they have there own action figures and stuff. I'd love to see some of the AWF guys go over there. I think Captain would fit over there i think the fans would like the whole Cricket thing. I think Hilton, Ravenous, JT and Dyno would fit well also. Platinum Players with the Triangle Gate Titles *Drools* From Dragon Gate i'd like CIMA to come back down and face TNT in a rubber match because they're currently even. 1 win a piece... Whatever happens i think this is fantastic and should make for some exciting shows over here and in Japan.

I agree with shane this is great news for AWF and Australian Wrestling, I would love to see CIMA in another match with TNT or maybe hilton. I would love to see other Dragon Gate wrestlers come downunder like K-ness, Dragon Kid, Milano Collection AT and Kenskey Sasaki.

Milano Collection AT and Kenskey Sasaki. Not to nitpick, but Milano hasn't worked for DG for about 2 years now and Kensuke was never an official part of the company, he and Nakajima worked there as freelancers. As for the announcement, it's a cool thing, hopefully wrestlers other than the usual suspects (TNT, Ravenous and Hilton) can work with the DG guys and benefit from the experience. And in terms of wrestlers coming to Australia, even with no local wrestler involvement, a show featuring a DG vs DG multi man tag, like M'Oz vs Tozawa-Joku would be tremendous. Crosses fingers in hope of seeing Genki ********* Horiguchi live.

YAY! As people have already said this is great news for Australian wrestling. I hope that some Japanese guys come down next time the AWF comes up to Queensland. That would rock. Who do people want to see come down from DG?

Dragon Gate have the figurines... They have CIMA, BXB Hulk and another one i can't remember... I heard Jushin Liger worked Dragon Gate how awesome would it be to have Liger down here. Also as someone said i'd love to see a multi man tag with maybe 8 guys coming down and having a 8 man tag match. Then also to sell the show have a Dragon Gate guy go against TNT for the heavyweight title. Maybe have the Open The Dream Gate Champion take on TNT for both belts... I think however this happens it'll benefit both promotions more so AWF. I wouldnt be suprised to see CIMA or BXB Hulk or someone else beat Kidman for the WSW Heavyweight Title on the next tour... Very exciting and now leaves a very very unpredictable main event for the next 3 shows because now that the working agreement is in place the title could possibly be defended by Saito in Japan. *Is excited*
