Kyle Seminoff vs Rick O'Shea from Tensions Rising 2005 at the Dojo. Best match i've ever seen in AWF and my MOTY for any aussie promotion for 2005. What I wrote at the time...

Kyle Seminoff def Rick O'Shea:

Awesome match, they just stiffed the shit out of each other. Seminoff goes to work on the arm of O'Shea with various MMA type submissions, with O'Shea getting the occasional flurry of offense in. Big strikes from both guys, O'Shea repeatedly kneeing Seminoff in the face looked insane. Seminoff goes over by submission, to keep his string of very good matches in 2005 going, whilst O'Shea looked awesome, you'd never guess he'd been out of action for over 2 years.

Nothing AWF has done before or since has topped it IMO.

only been to one show which was AWF and another brand which i cant now say.

TNT vs Austin Aries - IA 2
only reason it was any good was because the crowd went nuts for Aries and we had Austin Aries chants and the 450 chant at the end was insane.

He didnt get thrown He jumped off and kneedrpped Helton through a table this was after ladders and kendo sticks and powerbombs over the top rope. It was amazing

Surprised to see this on here, but thanks all the same. I was happy with that one.

Haven't been to too many AWF shows lately, but as far as recent matches go, Hilton/Saito at Panthers the other week was absolutely seamless. Great work.

As for all time favourite AWF match . . . ?

I know I shouldn't pick this one for fear of bias, but Tag Team Of The Year & TNT VS The Carnival Of Carnage - 6-man tag at Blacktown. January '02, I think from memory. Just a great, fun match that had the crowd going crazy.

Also, JT Robinson & 'Supersmooth' Donall Miller VS The Handsome Brothers - no particular match, just all of them. Pure gold, eh JT?
