Dragon Gate Japan stars Gamma & Super Shenron will compete in AWF from October 5-7 as part of the October WrestleFest events.
* Gamma is the top Rudo (Rulebreaker) in DG, and is the head of the Muscle Outlaw's contingent. He says he is coming for TNT's AWF Title, and to make an impact in AWF.
* Super Shenron is one of the premier high fliers in DragonGate, and is an exciting up and comer in Japanese wrestling. His spectacular moves will no doubt mystify audiences, and he will be sure to be a crowd pleaser in October.
- There will be a huge announcement at the All Pumped Up and Ready to Go! events regarding the headliner coming to AWF for the October WrestleFest. This announcement will be huge, so make sure you attend these events to be the first to hear the news officially!
- Harry Hardshaw is all riled up after his loss to Powerhouse Theo at Global Attack, and has sent word that he is rallying the troops from his homeland in Ireland for an assault on all titles in the AWF. Stay tuned to hear of future developments.
My thoughts:
I'll be honest about the Dragon Gate guys. I've never heard of Gamma and have only read about Shenron. This is my fault though not AWF's. I'm a big fan of the Dragon Gate boys coming out over here and challenging TNT for his belt.
Incase you didnt know:
Gamma is the number 3 contender meaning he challenges TNT in Wollongong.
Super Shenron is Number 4 Contender meaning he challenges TNT the night after.
Number 5 contender is Ravenous meaning he challenges TNT on the 7th but i don't think the "Headliner" will go without having a title match.
About the massive announcement i figure the headliner will be Sabu which means he'll be in Wollongong which means Shane O'Riley will be excited (I don't care who it is i'm getting my tickets on Tuesday anyway)
Hardshaw bringing his buddies from Ireland should be exciting. I'm not familiar with the Irish Wrestling Scene but i do enjoy Hardshaws work so if any of them are similar to Hardshaw i'll be happy.
AWF is looking to 1 of those promotions that get a name worldwide. It's already very very popular among fans in Australia and bringing all these talented men out and the working agreements they have set out with other promotions i think AWF is the next big thing in Australian Wrestling and will stay there for a long time.
Anyways lets get some thoughts on this new info.
