The Australian Wrestling Federation returns to the Campbelltown Catholic Club on Friday 5 November with an action packed live professional wrestling event that is sure to rock the foundations of the Campbelltown area.
After the success of the sellout debut event in July, AWF Wrestling is excited to be returning to the Catholic Club, and all of the AWF’s colourful and charismatic wrestlers are pumped up and ready to entertain twice as hard for the huge return event.
The card will present hard hitting pro-wrestling, incorporating a variety of styles from around the world, in various match formats, that will entertain and captivate the live audience in 2 hours of non stop action.
Rivalries built from the events of Campbelltown Carnage 1 will aim to be settled, and no doubt we will see new feuds develop as the stars of AWF Wrestling battle it out in a night that will showcase intense professional wrestling encounters.
The main event for the evening will pit AWF Australasian Champion, “High Flying” Mark Hilton against the number 1 contender Dean Draven in what promises to be an intense technical wrestling display from Australia’s top two wrestlers.
Dean Draven became the number 1 contender stemming from his victory in an eight man elimination tournament at Campbelltown Carnage 1. This victory earned him his long awaited AWF Title shot. Since then, Draven has been hounding Hilton at AWF events with a barrage of trash talk and sneak attacks, and has been chipping away at the Champion leading up to the event. Draven says “I am coming to Campbelltown to shut down Mark Hilton once and for all and take what is mine, the AWF Championship.”<br> AWF Champion Mark Hilton in the meantime has been taking on and defeating all comers, and despite Draven’s experience advantage and repeated sneak attacks, Hilton insists he remains un-phased and focused, and come 5 November, in front of his home town fans, Draven will know why Mark Hilton is the AWF Champion, and what payback is all about.
In addition to the AWF Title match other exciting action on the card will see:
- Young Lion’s Cup action with the Central Coast’s Billy Flyswat taking on the cocky Kid Dynamite in a return bout from Campbelltown Carnage 1.
- Local night clubber and fan favourite Scotty Club will challenge the explosive wrestling mayhem of TNT.
- Tag Team competition will pit the dastardly but deadly Sinister Technologies of PC Virus & Future Shock managed by The Webmistress battling the team the European Alliance consisting of Erich D’Krieger & The European Assassin.
- 3 Way action will see The Captain take on Teen Wolf & the returning Gravity.
- Lebanon’s “Mad” Tony Kebab will conduct a “Hardcore Challenge” where he will call on any opponent who thinks they are tough enough to take him down in a hardcore setting!
- All this plus surprises and giveaways!
AWF urges wrestling fans of the Campbelltown area to come along and support the Australian Wrestling Federation, so as it can continue as a regular fixture of the area in the future.
The evening will be an event suitable for the whole family, and is sure to be a memorable night, so we advise to book early to avoid disappointment as the previous event was a sellout.
