Has anyone played this game?
If you take out all the glitches (there are a few) then it's an alright game.
Anyone who's played the game: What do you think of it?
Is it an alright game (minus the glitches)?
I think it is. You can do stuff that you can't do in SvR games.
I really like having 8 man Elimination, Hardcore, tag team matches.
WOW that's a mouth full.

I'm not sure but i'm interested in buying all 3 copies i loved how some matches would be done in a High School Gym gave the "Indy" type of feeling that i like.
Also being able to do your own entrance is good...

I have most of my matches in their lol. Or this other one that looks like the old RAW IS WAR setup. Somtimes even the spectrum in Philly PA or Madison Square Gardens.

Showdown sucked, but I personally liked the first two. The golf style swing bar for reversals, etc. added an extra dimension to the gameplay and made for some great fun. LOW 2 is the pick of the bunch for me. Least glitchy of the 3, the expanded range of matches, a good roster, and the best gameplay.
But yeah, a very good roster and rather nice graphics aside, showdown was also riddled with glitches, had little to no long term appeal due to the lack of a decent career mode, incredibly dull gameplay, it was very dissapointing and, quite frankly, terrible.

Well I like it better than the 1st one at least because I've never played th 2nd one. Is it just LOW 2? Or does it have another name like the 3rd one (aka Showdown)?

Also I like the fact that Terry Funk and Sabu are always in the games. I have such awesome Hardcore matches with these 2.
Have you ever beaten anyone with a back body drop onto a chair? I have ^_^
It was funny. Then again Lawler's health meter was empty. ^.^

i should get this game :] Yes you should! ;D Good luck finding it though. Haven't seen a copy anywhere since mid 2005. 1 and 2 can be found rather easily, however, and shouldn't be very costly at all. I'd suggest giving any of the 3 a shot, just don't be expecting much from Showdown or you'll be dissapointed. I know I was. On another note, I found it funny how it says on the box for Showdown that it features commentary by Tony Schiavone and Jerry Lawler when, in fact, commentary was done by Tony, Bobby Heenan and Larry Zbysko. That's blatant false advertising if ever I saw it.
