WOLLONGONG WARFARE!
6 JUNE, WOONONA BULLI RSL
WOONONA, NSW
AWF returned with a solid comeback to the Illawarra with some solid, stiff, and entertaining pro-wrestling action. Highlights were applenty including Draven pinning Tony Kebab to get a title shot at Lake Haven, a solid 3 way including the AWF debut of Cletus Blood, plenty of heat for the local Captain and the 6 man tag, plus Mark Hilton successful in his first Title defence.
Results from the event were: Draven pinned“Mad” Tony Kebab to become No. 1 Contender, Spike Steele powerbombed Billy Flyswat for a win, 3 Way Warfare: Mad Dog Mcrea pinned Cletus Blood, & then Krackerjack defeated Mcrea, The Captain bested Kid Dynamite, Future Shock, PC Virus & Webmistress downed Teen Wolf, European Assassin & Scotty Club (and destroyed them after the bout also), AWF Championship: Mark Hilton defeated TNT after a top rope dropkick.
AWF will announce a future Illawarra event in the coming weeks.
THOMAS REDDALL RUMBLE!
4 JUNE - THOMAS REDDALL HIGH
AMBERVALE, NSW
An enthusiastic and loud crowd was on hand for a fun night of wrestling action as AWF returned to the Campbelltown area.
Highlights of the event saw the return of the massive Seven and his entry as a Detonation Crew Member, The Webmistress defeating Gravity with a steel chain to dismiss him from the AWF for 90 days, young school girl mania for Scotty Club, an off the charts cruiserweight three way, plus a pull-apart brawl between TNT and Hilton to end the event.
Results were as follows: Teen Wolf drew European Assassin, Webmistress pinned Gravity, TNT downed Scotty Club, Sinister Technologies defeated Draven & Tony Kebab, The Rush pinned Peter Zaharias, Non Title: Mark Hilton pinned Seven.
AWF thanks Thomas Reddall High School for their help with the event and looks forward to doing it again later in the year.
